Meet my homemade, all fresh, delicious Margarita! Cha-cha-cha!
I’m super excited to share this recipe with you guys. I don’t know about you but when people used to say, “Hey Jess, it’s Margarita Time!” I would hesitate because the mere thought of sipping on a margarita made with the standard, pre-maid margarita mix, full of shit ingredients would instantly give me a stomachache and headache. Like eww! Well say bye- bye to that! And say hello to the real-deal, happy margarita that will put a smile on your face.
Just image sipping on a fresh margarita made with nothing but fresh lime juice, lemon juice, orange juice, and soda water.
Plus it’s like, the easiest thing to make.
So presenting The Fresh, Healthy Low Cal Margarita:
(This recipe makes two cups because who drinks alone, right?)
2 ½ limes to make 4 ounce fresh lime juice
½ lemon squeezed for lemon juice
3oz ounce sparkling water
One Squeeze of half an orange
2 squeezes of Skinny Girl Agave (Zero Calories)
Directions: shake all mixture together in a shaker. Wet the rim of your glasses with one of the limes you squeezed, and then rub the rims in salt. Fill the glasses with ice and slowly pour the drink from your shaker into the glass using a strainer. For an added touch, cut the last half of your lime to make two round lime wheels to garnish the rim of each glass. Enjoy!
