March Madness: Best Looking Bracket

march madness

Break out your party sneakers; it’s time for the Big Dance. Otherwise known as March Madness.

If your not a huge basketball fan like myself, this is one tournament that actually sounds fun! Why? Well because they call it the Big Dance, there are “Cinderella” stories, lots of bracket parties, and BOYS!

Just because we don’t know the team stats or players, that’s no excuse to miss out on the spring ritual of selecting our Final Four, right? Instead of selecting based on seeds (whatever that is) I have chosen my top 4 teams based on uniform chicness. Now the tournament started with 68 teams, but that was wayyyy too many jerseys to look through, so now that there’s only 16 left I have chosen my top 4! “When you look good, you feel good!” This saying applies to basketball too because teams that feel confident in their uniform perform better on the court.

1. North Carolina

– The first thing that stands out is the big bold letters making it easier for the fans to spot their favorite players. The ocean blue paired with the crisp white is a unique color combination. Love the diamond pattern on the sides. Every girl identifies with diamonds.

2. Arizona

– The red and white strip on the shoulders emphasis the players broad shoulders. The red binding around the neck frames their handsome face nicely. The white outline makes their name and number pop. The design continues on the shorts with a unique triangle cutout at the hem.

– Particular fondness for my home city. The color combination of the cornflower yellow and powder blue is catchy. The gold numbers really stand out, especially on the blue jerseys. The gold trim around neck and arms accentuate the physique of the athlete. The cursive lettering is unique because most jerseys use block lettering.

4. Duke

– I especially like their royal jersey. The white trim around the armhole is cut out in a funky square shape and we all know basketball players have their arms in the air most the time. The simple parallel white trim adds finesse. The pants are costumed with mesh side panels that would make the shorts extra breezy and comfortable.
